I write about the small, boring infrastructure decisions that turn into interesting lessons once you actually run them yourself — a domain, a VM, a CDN in front of it, and whatever I've broken and fixed since.

Nothing here runs at scale on purpose. The point is reasoning about every layer end to end: DNS, origin, cache, edge logic — without a platform team standing between me and the mistake.

If a post is wrong or out of date, it's probably because I learned something after writing it. That's kind of the format.
